Façade and welcome desk
Carrousel du Louvre, Paris

Extra white glass which is clamped to the structure
with non-through inserts

The Louvre, between the Place du Palais Royal and the Rue de Rivoli, is the historical and cultural centre of Paris. In this context, creating the façade of the Carrousel du Louvre required audacity and skill. For this unusual location, Jean-Michel Wilmotte designed a jewel, a small facade cut like precious stones.
