Fire-retardant retified poplar, lacquered stainless steel

A wooden canopy made from parametric stars, suspended above the car entrance to the Crans Montana Hotel in Switzerland. The solid wood sections follow a random pattern, impressively covering the ceiling of this 380 m2 grotto. We also created the central sculpture with 3 suns, in burnt and gilded wood.
