Fire-retardant retified poplar, galvanised steel

350m2 ceiling suspended above the indoor swimming pool at the Crans Montana hotel in Switzerland. The project is made up of over 16 kilometres and 13,500 hexagonal-section retified poplar battens held vertically by suspended cable nets and galvanised steel structures.
