7 000 sheets of extra white glass decorated  with a high definition
semi-transparent white enamel veil

The Musée de la Romanité, designed by Elizabeth de Portzamparc, creates a striking architectural dialogue with the nearby Arena of Nîmes. Two distinct geometries, materials, and styles interact harmoniously with each other. Contrasting the robust stone mass and stunning vertical arches inherited from Rome, the Museum stands out as a bright and luminous presence, characterized by the fluidity of its horizontal drapes. The 7 000 milky glass slats appear to float above the site and its garden.
